The Modular Baby Fermenter is designed for flexibility is a basic Fermenter suited for training and research. Depending upon the requirements, inexpensive add-on modules may be added at any time.
Murhopye Laboratory Fermentors are available in in 3 liters to 14 liters capacities. The basic unit comprises of; · Autoclavable Pyrex glass vessel or in-situ-sterilizable jacketed SS vessel. · SS head plate with standard ports. · Accurate controls for aeration, agitation and temperature. · Mechanical shaft seal with double ball bearings for long, contamination free operation · Magnetically coupled bottom drive optional. · Detachable modular 19” standard control rack.
Murhopye Pilot Fermenters are developed for volumes above 20 litres. The basic unit comprises of jacketed pressure vessel made of stainless steel with standard ports for: - Air inlet and outlet connection - Connections for acid, alkali, antifoaming agent, feed and harvest - Connections for continuous culture - Side ports for pH, oxygen and temperature probes
It has an opening on one side of the fitted with a circulation blower. The blower takes the inside air from the room and passes through the ducting in two paths. In one path it takes the hot and humid air and in the other it takes the cool air. The cool air and hot, humid air are mixed in the mixing chamber located on the other side of the KOJI ROOM. Water condensate gets drained through the bottom drain valve.
Murhopye Laboratory Solid State Bioreactor is a small scale reactor adapted for the basic steps in reasearch for optimization studies. The design allows the study of process behaviour in pilot scale reactors. As the name suggests, it can operate aseptically. Sample can be drawn during process aeration. It has a control of temperature and moisture content.
Economical production of bio-fertilizers demands efficient production of quality inoculums at high density. This could be achieved by using optimum nutritional medium and growing microorganisms under given condition. This requires growing a selected strain under controlled conditions such as temperature, pH, aeration and agitation.
Murhopye's Fluidized Bed Bio-reactors and Airlift Fermenters can be used for study of highly aerobic and shear sensitive biomass. A continuous medium circulation with optimally designed aeration provides required turbulence of the bed and adequate supply of air to the medium.
