Prof M.C.Misra is a gradute
Biochemical Enginner from HBTI Kanpur and M Tech and PhD in Chemical Engineering
from IIT Kanpur. He joined CSIR CFTRI Mysore in 1976 and retired after 30 years
working on fermenter design, process control and developing processes for Single cell protein,
Single cell oil, organic acids, probiotics and enzymes. He led a number
National and Inter national projects, published research papers and got
patents. He helped establishing
Biotechnology Departments in two Engineering colleges.
